10506724 10203355627005462 3606758523778854209 o1 The 1s travelled to 3rd place Falkland for an important fixture to turn around a run of a couple of losses.

It proved to be a fruitful trip, Bobby won the toss and chose to bat and he and Fahad got off to a solid start putting on 90 for the first wicket in under 20 overs.  Fahad (36) eventually falling leg before to one that stayed low on him.  It was a big boundary which resulted in a large number of 3s being run, 14 before Bobby (56) was the second man out.

It then become the Jazim show as he constructed yet another century, ultimately equalling his 110* that he scored against Westquarter earlier in the season.  He was well supported by Andrew (10), James Martin (13) on his debut and Connor (24) as the side went on to post an impressive 290-5 in their 45 overs.

In reply Falkland never were in the hunt for the score, however wickets did prove hard to come by, as a result of some poor catching but also some stubborn resistance.  Falkland batted through their 45 overs reaching 150-9 with Fahad taking 4-32 in the process.  They just managed to reach the extra batting point on the penultimate ball.

The result pushes the 1s up to 4th in the Division with Falkland dropping to 5th.  It now looks as though there are 4 sides fighting for 2nd promotion spot.

The 2s completed a comprehensive victory against 4th place Kirkbrae and with 2nd placed Hawick losing now find themselves up in 2nd place themselves.  It was a strong bowling performance which saw them dismiss Kirkbrae for 106 in 37 overs with Shrey (3-8) and Ahmed (3-15) being the stand out bowlers.  It then only took the team 18 overs to knock off the score for the loss of 1 wicket with Kash undefeated on 55 at the close.

This weekend the 2s travel to Dunbar (5th) whilst the 1s host 7th placed Fauldhouse in a local derby.
