Windball Cricket Day 17th June - What to expect on the day

2016-06-17-windball 460x171 57b0dba8e2c3130b20d686b249075f2bOn 17th June Livingston Cricket club will hold the inaugural windball cricket day and planning for the event is going well. If you have a team participating or you just want to come along and watch the fun, here is a rundown of what you can expect:

Time Running order
12.00 to 12.45 Arrival and Tea/Coffee
12.45 to 13.00

Welcome & health & safety instructions

and rules of the game

13.00 to 17.30 ish

The games - each team will play a minimum 3 games

BBQ and some refreshments available during this time

17.30 to 17.45 End of games speeches (they will be short - honest!)
17.45 to late Bar open, Pizzas delivered, potential impromptu pool and darts tournament or watch the Euro 2016 games on the big screen (Czech Republic v Croatia and Spain v Turkey)

All equipment for the games will be provided and everything will be set up before you arrive so it's simply a case of turn up, play and enjoy. The only requirement is that you wear suitable clothing and footwear. During the afternoon the BBQ will be on the go and there will be some refreshments to help yourself to. Changing facilities are available in the clubhouse which is fully DDA compliant should there be access needs.
