2017 competitions

This year we are in for a real feast of cricket at Dresselrigg. At a senior level, the first team continue to ply their trade in ESCA Division Two and the second XI participate again in Division Six. On Sundays we will also be fielding a Development team in a new ESCA Development league. Participation in this league is primarily for those returning to cricket, new to the game or promising Juniors who are ready to break through into adult cricket. We will also be taking part in a yet to be decided midweek competition and the inaugural West Lothian Last Man Stands league as well as the usual cup competitions.

The strength in depth that we have also allows Livingston Cricket Club to participate in a greater number of Junior competitions than ever before. Following on from last years successful Kwik Cricket festivals, the Livingston Sunrisers will take part in competitions in the Forth Valley Region as well as Edinburgh, not only that we are aiming to put out two teams each weekend. The dates of the Forth Valley Kwik Cricket fixtures are already locked into the fixture schedule on the website, Livingston will host the festival on 4th June and we intend to make this the best festival we have hosted . The Under 11s, now known as Livingston Cyclones, will also be participate as two teams, with one in the ESCA A league and one in the B league. We will also be participating at Under 13 level as Livingston Thunder and at Under 15 level as Livingston Storm, who will also participate in the Under 15 Scottish Cup . This level of involvement at the Junior level really marks us as one of the leading clubs at this level and this is backed up with four of our junior members Zane, Robert, Arsh and Jaget also representing Forth Valley at Under 12 level.
