Further exciting news for our cricketers of all ages at Livingston Cricket Club...

Following the recent arrival of a brand new set of Test Match standard covers, we are pleased to announce that we have been successful in two further funding applications to augment and improve the facilities available at the club.

Firstly, we were succesful in an application to Awards for All which will enable us to install a permanent 2 bay 30m practise area. See below for a sample of what the finished area will look like. (Thanks to our friends at Glenrothes CC for the use of their image).

Secondly, we have just received notification from Cricket Development Trust Scotland that we were also succesful (subject to satisfactory completion of a couple of conditions) in an application towards funding a new Bola Bowling machine. This will complement the net facilities beautifully.

These awards will enable the club to provide top class facilities that, in conjunction with our experienced Coaches, will allow us to develop every member, from young to old, from new to experienced cricketer, to achieve their maximum potential in the sport.  Top class facilities for a club on the up. 

Watch this space over the next few weeks to find out when the projects will be complete. Works will not commence until after the outfield has been sandbanded.
