After an absence of 10 years, Livingston 1st XI return to Division One, clinching promotion on the last day of the season. Fittingly the final wicket was taken by Captain Ahmed Ali to seal a 41 run victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Drummond Trinity. The players were not only jubilant at the success they have had this season but full of praise for Jim Wilson and Hannah Short for all the work they have done this year to prepare some excellent wickets.. Well done team and a big thank you to all those involved in the success including coaches, bar staff and supporters.
