Title:
Gala Day
When:
Saturday 1st September

2018 09 01 Gala2

The annual favorite, Gala Day is back again - 1st September 2018, from Noon to 5pm. This year we have our usual treats such as stalls, Dog show and tombola but please take note of the special features planned this year.
1. Scarecrow competition - NEW for this year we are looking for some great family building to make your very own scarecrow to bring along on the day. It doesn't have to be big, a masterpiece or even made out of straw, just choose any theme and bring it along with you by 12.30 on Gala Day and enter our competition (small fee to enter) for a winning prize!
2. Wheelie Bin competition - back again this year, the dress your wheelie bin competition. Harry Potter bin won last year so perhaps yours could be the winner this year? Choose any theme and bring it along with you by 12.30 on Gala Day and enter our competition (small fee to enter) for a winning prize!
BOTH competitions will be judged around 1pm and winners announced at 3pm.
3. Bake Off - come on you budding bakers show us your stuff! Three categories this year - primary school (biscuits), high school (sponge cake) and adults (chocolate cake).
