With Spring just around the corner, and after a 2 year absence, the club's legendary Race Night is back!!  Saturday 9th April at 8pm to be precise. The LCC Race Night is held in such high esteem on Race Meeting Calendars that Aintree and John Smith's have moved the 2011 Grand National to the same afternoon as a warm up to the Main Meet of the Year. For 2011 there will be 8 races, with races 4 and 8 being the popular Auction Race for the horses.

The bookies have already been in touch to ensure that they get a spot in the Tote Room and we have already had to turn away a few disappointed companies hoping for a lucrative spot.  

Tickets are restricted and as this is usually a very very popular event with members and their guests then our advice is to get in early for them.  You can get a ticket (priced £2.50 including free entry to a prize draw) are available  from the Bar.  Whilst you are there why don;t you take the opportunity to buy a horse and increase your chances of winning another prize.
