In Craig's case, the naturally gifted gloveman was also a talented Rugby player, and after a brief flirtation with the finance industry he combined his love of rugby and his career. Firstly as the Club Development Officer for Livingston Rugby Club and latterly as the Rugby Development Office for Clackmannanshire Council. The advent of professionalism in Rugby saw the extension of the season and the training demands force Craig to forego his cricket playing days

In the latest release of 'Where are they Now?' we turn our attention to one of the younger cricketers to play for Livingston. Craig Bolan, another multi sport talent, who came through the ranks of the club to become, probably, the most naturally gifted wicket keeper the club has produced. Craig was one of 5 young talents at the club, and in company of Craig Toms, Stuart Wilson, James McClymont and Campbell Lewis should have been the mainstay of the club after the millenium. Sadly, for varying reasons, all 5 of those talents were lost to the club over too short a period.

As well as a keeper, Craig was also a beligerent batsman, though he was no agricultural shot maker. His cover drive was bettered only by Gerry Toms himself and his array of strokes around the wicket were a big loss to the club. Off the field Craig would amuse the dressing room with a fine imitation of Willie John Singing 'Starman' on his guitar.... Legendary!! There is still hope that once 'Boles' get too big for the rugby pitch he might make a return to his native sport.....

Good recollection of Bolan's Willie J impression. Where was that? Newton St. Boswells?
Look lets be fair, neither Camp-bell or my wife are going to read this. Dare I say I shagged some burd from Newton St. Boswells many moons ago.
Are you trying to tell us that you shagged Camp-Bell?? I can't think of any other reason for you to mention him otherwise.... Was it one of those scenarios where he was dressed as a burd, you'd had a couple of pints and the rest, as they say.....
Delilah?
