Rain overnight led to a late start.  There was a fair bit of water on the square but the super sopper did its job and a 40 over game was started at 2pm.

Falkland won the toss and elected to bowl. Bobby and Fahad got things off to a steady start until a mix up resulted in Fahad being run out for 10.  Ruan and Bobby continued to build making sure they took every single they could.  Bobby was caught and bowled with the total at 57 bringing Hamad to the crease and the start of a 79 run match winning partnership.  They took the innings into the last 10 before they both skied catches Ruan going first for 65 and Hamad for 39.  Andrew and Ramesh took the innings onto 157 before 2 late wickets fell and Livi had posted 157-6.

In reply Zeeshan's pace caused problems from the first ball, whilst he only got 1 wicket his 5 overs only cost 5 runs.  Hamad at the other end was almost as miserly taking 2-15 in his 8 overs.  Our intensity in the field and tight bowling continued to pile the pressure on Ramesh took 1-13 in 5 overs, Andrew pulled off a slick run out and Falkland were reeling at 18 for 5.  It was now just a matter of how long they could survive.  Alan conceded his customary 4 off his first ball and took a wicket his next and he and Jim wrapped up the tail - Alan 3-10, Jim 2-8.

Falkland were dismissed for 55 and Livi had won by 102 runs.  Next week it is away to Fauldhouse.
