Jack Jarvis, Captain of our U13 team and also the Forth Valley District U12 team, made his debut this weekend for the Forth Valley District U14 team.
The team were playing Ayrshire away at Prestwick and although they ultimately lost it was a very successful day for Jack.
Ayrshire scored 195, Jack bowled 5 overs producing figures of 1-10. In reply Jack batting at number 5 went on to score an undefeated 53 in a total of 153-9. This was Jack's maiden half century, bearing in mind that in U13 cricket he has to retire when he has reached 30.
For those who know the records, and bearing in mind what a record breaking weekend it has been, I'm wondering if he has become the youngest Livingston player to score a half century?
Our U13s ably captained by Jack have so far played 2 games this season, winning both, against East Lothian and SMRH, in the latter dismissing SMRH for 4!! Do come along and watch them in their next home fixture.
