Last Man Stands are seeking a Manager to help set up the franchise in West Lothian. The club are looking to get involved by entering a team in the league but if you are interested there is an opportunity to get involved at the formation stage: 

LMS Manager for West Lothian / Falkirk
I’m looking for someone to now help me get things off the ground in West Lothian / Falkirk. The role is split as follows:
Pre season
· Help find and secure venues
· Help recruit players and teams (this is a supportive role as will be doing a lot of this via social media and clubs)
· Help recruiting umpires (can be from players)

When the season starts
In the lead up to the matches:
· Ensure umpires are assigned to matches
· Check ‘squad lists’ on availability 48 hours before a match to see if any obvious problems fulfilling fixtures
· Send email out to all players asking for ‘ringers’ if issues fielding eight.
· Ensure umpires have a stock of balls and scoresheets. Also, keep spares at the venue just in case!
On match day (pre match):
· Contact captains and umpires in event match is off, and contact LMS Scotland to organise for fixture to be rescheduled.
· (either you or delegated to umpires) – put out stumps, boundary flags and shared kit bag for teams to use
· If teams not being invoiced and paying cash, ensure full match fee collected prior to match starting
On match day (Post match) if at venue:
· Pay umpires (£15) and take per game match fee as local manager (£10, or £25 to you if you are doing both).
· Ensure money and scorecards are deposited in safe location for collection by local manager if not on site.
On match day (Post match) if not at venue:
· Ensure umpire has instructions on where to leave match fees, signing sheets and scorecards etc.
After the match (minimum weekly):
· Bank money from matches, specifying breakdown of what money for in an email confirming to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so this can be reconciled. 
· Enter scorecards and stats for players on the online database (world rankings updating every Wednesday at midnight, so ideally if doing weekly should be done on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening).
Payment
· You will be paid £10 for every match played.
· Umpires will be paid £15. Therefore if you umpire, you earn £25 per match.
· You will be paid a £50 referral fee for every team you recruit to the league
New umpires
The venue manager will also need to help find umpires willing to stand (and be paid to do so) and to organise for them to be trained to stand.
Umpires standing for the first time will do so alongside an experienced umpire at Square Leg, giving guidance where required. If comfortable after this game, they can then stand on their own. Both umpires shall be paid £15 for standing.
