1st XI Skipper in Demand
Written by Day Lee Tbloid
Following the revelation that Skipper Stuart Lang had dislocated his finger attempting to take a catch at a recent practise session, it appears that his phone has never stopped ringing..

Firstly their was a clamour from the tabloids all keen to get exclusive coverage of the highly unusual occurence of a Livi skipper attempting a catch, then the Glossy Mags vying to buy the exclusive access to the photographs of the treatment.  Just when Lang thought he had managed to stop the flow of unwanted publicity a representative of Cadbury's appeared asking if he would allow their experts to investigate his fingers to see if they could use a similar composition in the constant quest for the perfect chocolate.

Lang (35) declined to comment when approached by us, preferring to hide behind closed doors, although an unnamed source indicated that the injury was painful and would prevent him playing for the next 8 weeks or so. The source also alluded that upon return Lang would revert to type by refusing to attempt to catch anything again.....
