Stirling were asked to bat on what seemed a good track. this so proved to be the case, with a opening stand of 166 for the 1st wicket from 19 overs before Lees(75) was bowled by Hall, but there had been 5 dropped catches by this stage.119 runs came for the 2nd wicket before wadood claimed the Carswells wicket scoring 139, then another 2 balls later.a couple of late wickets one for Choudhry and another for Hilton saw Stirling post a huge 348-5.
In reply the first goal was passing the 36 we managed in the first game, which was passed in the 16th over, with going very slow the only thing we could go for was maximum batting points, a stand of 41 for the 3rd wicket between Falconer(11) and Darren saw us to 77,and another of 40 between Darren and Fahd(12) for the 5th saw the max batting points within our grasp.Mark(2*) and Darren saw us to 173 in the 45th over thanks to 4 consecutive fours from the skipper who finished on a personal best 90 not out.
