Livingston II 131-7 beat Broomhall II 45 all out
Another excellent 2nd team performance saw Livingston maintain their winning start to the season.
Batting first (not by choice) Heaney and the returning Jarvis put on a solid opening stand
of 41 from 16 overs before Heaney(12) was caught trying to force the run rate up. Jarvis continued into the 29th over scoring a solid 42 before being caught. good contributions from Bowering(18) Suresh(13) and Anwar (20) saw livingston to 131 on a pitch where it was easy to stay in but difficult to score.
In reply Broomhall II made a steady start for the first 5 overs before Mackay struck and kept on striking to record his best figures of 9 overs 3 maidens 13 runs 7 wickets. Roddy was well backed by his fielders taking good sharp catches all afternoon. Jarvis picked up 2 wickets for 10 runs and Clark picked up the final wicket with Broomhall on 45.
