Marchmont were asked to bat on a damp Cavalry Park track.
Livingston bowlers took wickets at regular intervals to leave Marchmont 72 for 5 off 18 overs. The Marchmont Skipper and Smith hung in for 11 overs but found it difficult to score off Anwar, before the re-introduced Shiv and Heaney removed them in quick succesion. Thomas Hilton ran through the tail with Marchmont posting a 'par for the pitch' 147.

In reply 'new' opening pair of Anwar and Heaney (batsman 2 and 2a) scored 31 for the first wicket before Anwar(16) left a delivery that hit his off stump. Hall joined Heaney at the crease for 12 overs before Heaney(27) was caught, soon followed by Bowering(0) playing on.
So at drinks Livingston were 77 for 3. Hall and Franks shared a 53 run stand in 12 overs before Hall(72) was caught with the score on 130 with 10 overs remaining. Franks(12) lost his wicket 5 runs short of the total followed by Suresh(10) stumped with the scores level. J Hilton(2no) scampered a bye to see us over the line in the 41st over.
