West Lothian II: 207 - 8
Livingston I: 209 - 3
Livingston travelled to local rivals, West Lothian. Naved won the toss and put the home team in on an even track, under a typically tropical Scottish sun. With early wickets, West Lothian were in trouble at 34 - 3, but with a big 4th wicket partnership, and some lusty hitting at the end of the innings, reached a creditable 207 - 8 from their fifty overs.
Livingston's reply started well, with runs flowing freely, until Neil fell to a sharp catch in the slips. Kash took full advantage of some sloppy catching to steer Livingston to victory in 43.1 overs?with an unbeaten 96, with great support from Lakhmir, Naved and Kirk.
This was a comfortable, confidence-building victory, with a solid all round performance from the team.
