Kingfishers Slide Home in T20 Cup Tie
Written by Iain Murdoch
The Kingfishers snuck past Edinburgh South in the Activcity 20 20 cup match last night at a rather green, but surprisingly dry Inch Park.  Mark will no doubt set up a more detailed report, but in brief we restriced them to 87 all out, and reached the total for loss of 4 wickets with 2 overs to spare.   Thanks mainly to a blistering finish by Senthil... including a 6 over point!!

Well done lads - that inch park pitch is very green but sounds like you handled it well!

another "in brief" could be:
even with such a trifle score we managed to squeeze a tight game out of it...if it sounds like bitching.. it probably is...

to restrict them to 87 off your 20 overs is an excellent effort - though having played on that pitch last weekend I think it marginally favours the bolwers over the batsmen. One end in particular had a lot of bounce which made it difficult to bat against and the ball was swingng quite alot when we played. Nothing in the pitch for a finger spinner mind given how green it was when we played.

So who took what wickets and scored what runs?
