Livi 2's comfortable win
Written by Darren Hall
Livingston 2's 185 all out
beat
rhc 3's 115 all out

On the worst of bad wickets RHC won the toss and inflicted batting upon Livingston . On a pitch with short boundries and variable bounce a 'par score' was difficult to predict.
Guys who got to grips with the track were
D Hall  74
S Miani  24
F Anwar 18
T Baker 16
S Babu  15
J Hilton 12
Very hard going and well done to all, who set 185 in 42 overs

In reply RHC's skipper set about the task very bullishly, attemping to pull everything to cow corner and despite Shiv taking a couple of early wickets getting Moore(45) was the main task, which eventually Hall did(despite going for a few) in his last over.
That dismisall got everyone loosinging up to have a bowl with RHC on 68-4. The man(young man) to grasp the opportunity was Clark, who  bowled full and straight and picked up a career (so far) best of 4-16. The returning Shiv took another wicket to take him to 3-19, and much to Connors disgust Tom Baker took the last 2 wickets in his first over 2-1.

A good effort from the 2's. Well done Boys

I'd only have congratulated him if he got 5 wickets, 4 is nothing special

;-)

Massive kudo's to Daz though, that was a fantastic knock

Yep, apart from the pitch it's the sort of boundary we'd love to bat on every week! Once you take into account the quality of the pitch then Dazza's knock is probably one of the best by a livi batsman this season and the differene between winning and losing this week.

Getting their captain out was always going to be the key, and we made hard work of it dropping him a couple of times early on but once daz got him it was just a question of bowling straight and letting the pitch do the rest and well done to Cliche Clarkie he bowled straight and reaped the reward.

Also helped that Cliche managed to get the wicket of their South African wicket keeper from New Zealand ;-)
